Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) for a hands-on day designed to help your team move from idea to working agent, securely and reliably, on AWS. We’ll start with why Amazon Bedrock is a smart foundation for accessing leading models like Claude, OpenAI, and Grok, and how Bedrock gives you control over token consumption, observability, and guardrails. From there, you’ll go hands-on in the Amazon Bedrock AgentCore workshop and build your first agent. You’ll leave with practical skills, reusable patterns, and the confidence to build trustworthy AI agents for your agency.

This session is designed for Texas state agency technology teams who want to get hands-on building AI agents: application developers, solutions architects, cloud/platform engineers, data and AI/ML practitioners, and the IT leaders (CIOs, CTOs, Directors of Innovation/AI) who guide their agencies’ AI strategy.
